Led by Gretchen Egolf and Patrick Bailey, this workshop provides audition help, using simple Chekhov tools. We will access quick keys into the character which can be used for the last-minute nature of auditions. Half of the workshop will focus on using the technique specifically for screen. Both of these approaches can be used for character work in a larger sense, not limited just to auditioning! All actors are welcome — no experience of Chekhov Technique is necessary, and all experience levels are welcome. Participants are welcomed but not required to bring sample audition scenes and character breakdowns.
